Here's a description of our meeting: According to Mary Bowling in a ClickZ article, "Even newcomers to
local search recognize the Google 10 pack. When a searcher types in a
query that Google interprets as a quest for something nearby, Google
returns 10 very obvious Local Business Listings (listed as A through J)
in the results. These appear adjacent to an eye-catching map and are
usually just beneath the sponsored ads at the top of the page and above
the organic Universal Search results." The Google Ten Pack is
considered “prime real estate." But what is it that those ten sites
have that yours might not have?
Our speaker, Liz Hamilton with Maia Internet Consulting, an expert in internet marketing, will explain what the Google 10 Pack is, how to claim and enhance your listing to give you a jump start on your competition. You’ll want to RSVP early. But please remember, even though this meeting is free and you don't lose anything if you don't show up (except not being able to RSVP for future meetings until the day of), please be considerate of others if your plans change. Free does not mean "no value". This speaker is incredible and she normally charges a lot for her services - yet loves teaching others like us.
